Chocolate Ganache Recipe

This simple but delicious chocolate filling goes beautifully with macarons. The dark chocolate’s bitterness cuts through some of the sweetness from the macaron shells making it a perfect pairing. Another plus is that this recipe is so simple that my cat could make it. It also doesn’t take much time either which is an absolute relief after slaving away for the macaron shells. I usually lose my steam after making the shells so this is always a great go-to recipe to fill them.


Chocolate Ganache

  • 4 oz dark chocolate
  • 4 oz heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  1. Put the chocolate into a heat safe bowl.
  2. Warm up the heavy cream in a small sauce pan over medium heat until it just starts to boil. Then pour the cream into the bowl over the chocolate.
  3. Let the chocolate sit for a minute to get melty. Then stir in the butter and mix until smooth.
